It's quite frightening, really.
I was watching Frontline the other night, and was fascinated and horrified at the same time. The topic? Persuasion - in the way of advertising and words in political use. The program included a look at how marketers and advertisers are trying to determine just what it is we want, so they can appropriately target their audience to deliver the appropriate message.
