The ridiculous rains let up enough to get outside and do some hiking. While some of the trails are rather mucky and others are completely underwater, it is clear that all the wet weather has triggered the beginning of the wildflower season. Some gorgeous blooms were seen and the best (in my opinion anyway) is yet to come...fields of goldpoppies and lupine! I can't wait!
